What began as a small dog walking service in 2012 has grown into one of Australia's most trusted pet care providers. Our founder, Emma Richardson, started cozy-fern after recognising a gap in the market for truly personalised animal care.

Having worked as a veterinary nurse for nearly a decade, Emma understood that pets need more than just basic care. They need understanding, patience, and genuine affection. These values remain at the heart of everything we do today.

Our Facility

Located in the heart of Richmond, our purpose-built facility spans over 800 square metres. Designed with animal comfort and safety in mind, we feature separate areas for dogs and cats to minimise stress.

The grooming salon includes specialised tubs for all dog sizes, professional-grade dryers, and a calming atmosphere with carefully controlled lighting and temperature.

Our boarding suites range from cosy standard rooms to spacious luxury suites, each equipped with comfortable bedding, climate control, and webcam access for owners who want to check in on their pets.
